42. My mission statement
As a writer, I am a crafter of words. I believe in writing for a cause that will inspire my readers in some way. Be it a poem, prose, a blog, a research paper or even a thesis, I strive to grab the attention of my readers. I try to inculcate my experience and personality into my writing style. This is because I believe that my words are an expression of who I am.
As an aspiring writer, I feel encouraged to write about different subjects. My area of interest lies in three different fields: History, International Relations, and Public Relations and as such, my writings are often a balance of these subjects. I also like to share instances from my personal life. As a person who has been away from home for the last five years, lived in three cities across India, met people from across India and the world; I write about the experiences I have had in these years, as well as about the people I have met.
I believe in writing short and crisp content, but at the same time, I am a fan of long content. My writing can take several forms, from daily blogs at blogger to research papers for my college requirements. At the same time, I also believe that there is a difference between what to say and how to say it. My readers consist of people from various walks of life, from historians, research scholars, students of International studies and public relations, as well as PR professionals. I am inspired by the writings of Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon and Stephen King.
