55. What is your sun sign?

It's not my fault! I am a Leo, I am supposed to be proud and lazy at the same time!

Sounds familiar? Let's all be honest. We all check horoscopes, whether we believe in it or not.  There is this sense of comfort in these sun signs. However, the zodiac signs are one crumb of  Astrology's big cake. Today, Astrology is becoming extremely popular, especially among millennials. The young adults of today are not only looking at zodiac signs but also their birth charts. At the same time, this blog doesn't say that ALL millennials are obsessed with astrology.

The year is 2019. We live in the age of technology. Astrological memes are the rage. Yet, we see a phenomenal rise in people who believe in this art.  Today we have the existence of hundreds of websites and mobile apps dedicated to astrology. Why is this so?  To begin with, the lack of certainty about the future is exciting for many people. Astrology, thus, becomes the way through which people find comfort and solace. The astrological websites are popular mainly because they provide a sort of astrological weather forecast.

Zodiac signs, are in a way, becoming the part of an individual's identity. To elaborate on this idea, let me give an example. Zodiac signs provide answers that apply to a wide range of people. At the same time, it feels like the daily forecasts are speaking to the person directly.  It is a way through which millennials bond. For instance, members of the same zodiac sign feel they can relate to one another, even if they may or may not know each other. There exists a strong online community of people who obsess over their zodiac signs.

The skepticism around astrology is decreasing day by day. Websites and bloggers post regular articles about their star signs too. Hence, we can say that the appetite for astrology among the millennials is only increasing with time.
